Flower garlands were ornaments hung inside Buddhist temple halls. This wooden example features a painted image of paired Kalaviṅka, mythical Buddhist creatures, holding flower baskets on either side of a twisted cord. The background is vibrantly filled with an auspicious floral vine pattern in vivid colors.
