The back side of this mask resemble the Snow [ko'omote], a well-known mask previously owned by the warlord Toyotomi Hideyoshi (1537–1598). It is likely a copy of another Snow [ko'omote] copy, known as the Kawachi version, based on its gentle expression as well as the round damage on the nose.
